I used xAPI to capture detailed learner interaction data from complex simulations, allowing us to pinpoint exactly where learners hesitated, repeated steps, or misunderstood key tasks. By partnering with our data analysts, this raw xAPI data was transformed into clear Tableau dashboards that made patterns easy to interpret. These insights helped facilitators target support more effectively and enabled our instructional design team to refine learning experiences based on real learner behavior, not assumptions.
